General Command of Army and Armed Forces categorically denies using of chemical weapons in Damascus Countryside

DAMASCUS, (ST) –”the  biased and misleading T.V channels have  made fabricated accusations of  chemical weapons use by  the Syrian Army in Damascus Countryside,” underscored the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces dismissed  the  allegations as “completely baseless” and “untrue”, stressing that the report is  part of the dirty media warfare on Syria.

The statement made it clear that the General Command has the right to fight terrorism in Syria and to fulfill its national and constitutional duties as regards  protecting  the country and citizens.

“the allegations of terrorist gangs and the thugs –backed channels have been fabricated to cover up terrorist gangs’ looses, “said the statement, adding that these allegations reflect their hysteria, disorder and breakdown.

“before it’s too late, those who bear arms against the state must turn themselves in to the authorities, “warned the General Command.
