Pushkov:Solving Crisis in Syria Impossible through Arming Terrorist Groups

 MOSCOW, (S)- Alexei Pushkov, the Head  of the Russian State Duma’s Foreign Affairs Committee, was quoted as saying :”the world countries have to recognize that it is impossible to resolve the crisis in Syria through supporting and arming the terrorist groups, holding the US responsible for spreading and instigating the crisis in Syria”.

Interviewed by the Russia Today TV aired Saturday , Pushkov made it clear that the

Geneva Statement which was agreed upon by the international community is the best possible   procedures to resolve the crisis in Syria.

Pushkov branded   the US stance on Syria as weak and not harmonious , indicating that the US and al-Qaeda stand together against Syria.
