Syria hammers Kuwait 5-0

The U-19 national football team have scored an emphatic 5-0 victory over their Kuwaiti counterparts in a friendly match at the Qadisiya stadium in Kuwait

Early in the first half, midfielder Samer Salem took the lead for the Syrian side with a close-range shot after he received a precise cross from his teammate Mahmoud Mawas

The Syrian side kept up pressuring the Kuwaiti defense adding the second goal in the 24th minute through Hamid Mido

Seven minutes before the interval, Samer hit home with a beautiful header

 In the second half, Samer managed to score his hat-trick in the 75th minute with a powerful shot just outside the penalty area

Few minutes into the final whistle, referee of the match awarded our team a penalty kick. Omar Jiniat converted only to wrap up the series of sensational goals
