Russia for not Involving Palestinian Refugees in the Crisis in Syria

 MOSCOW, (ST)_ “We urge the Syrian parties to make all possible efforts to avoid involving Palestinian refugees to confrontations within the context  of the internal crisis in Syria , so as  their residence  will not be a place for combat operations”,  said a statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry on Friday, adding that Moscow is extremely concerned about this  change in the course  of events.

The more the scope of combat operations in Syria is expanded ,  the more provocative news are increased , the last of which are the clashes  in Palestinian refugees camps in Syria, the statement read.

More than 486 thousand Palestinian refugees, the statement said, are living in Syria according to the latest UN statistics by the United Nations. A matter which makes it imperative to quickly finding a just and comprehensive solution for the Palestinian Cause, where the Palestinian refugees’ problem should be part and parcel of the solution, the statement concluded.
