National media knocks out terrorism, says Al-Halqi

DAMASCUS,(ST)-Premier Dr. Wael Al-Halqi highly praised the professional work of the public and private national media.

” The Syrian media has unveiled the ugly face of some foreign media

Regarding  the current events in Syria,” Al-Halqi stressed.

Chairing the Cabinet session on Wednesday, Al-Halqi made it clear that a constructive communication and cooperation between governmental bodies and media outlets is a must.

Hence, Premier Al-Halqi called upon concerned officials to provide reporters with information needed in the benefit of the citizens.

For his part, Walid Al-Moallem , the Foreign and Expatriates Minister, briefed the cabinet on meetings he held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session.

During his meetings, Al-Moallem confirmed the solid and firm Syrian stance as regards solving the crisis through political dialogue and national reconciliation and rejecting any kind of foreign intervention in the Syrian internal affairs.
