Hasakah Governor, UNFPA discuss ways of enhancing cooperation in health sector

HASAKAH, Jun.2, (ST)-Hasakah Governor Ghassan Khalil discussed on Thursday with the International Programs Coordinator at the United Nations Population Fund ( UNFPA) Jannicki Beinert and the accompanying delegation the ways of enhancing cooperation between the two sides, especially in the health field.

 
During the discussion, which was held at the headquarters of the governorate , Khalil referred to the support services being offered by the Fund to the health sector in the governorate, represented by the opening the labor clinic and some departments in the Pearl Medical Center, stressing the continuation of cooperation between the two sides to improve the services being offered to people. 
 
For her part, the coordinator of the international programs clarified that the aim of the visit to Hasakah governorate was to follow up and evaluate the activities implemented in cooperation with partners, the services provided to citizens, and the work plan for the next phase to improve the services.
