With the participation of 200 companies for  engineering, food and chemical industries, the activities of the Fourth Aleppo International Fair, organized by Nizam Company for Exhibitions and Conferences in cooperation with Syriatel, opened on Wednesday evening on the grounds of the Hamdania Stadium.

The exhibition includes products for building materials, central air conditioners, industrial machinery, electrical supplies, timber, agricultural tractors, food products, detergents, Aleppo soap. It also includes pavilions for public sector companies, Iranian companies, and the embassies of India, the Philippines, Indonesia, South Africa and Iran.

In a statement to reporters, the Governor of Aleppo, Hussein Diab, said that the exhibition constitutes one of the important exhibitions that are opened from time to time in Aleppo, and is both a message and evidence of the start of the return of the Syrian economy to its normal state and the recovery of the Syrian industry. It proves that the Syrian economy has been able to overcome all the difficulties and challenges it faced during the past years and which it is still facing through the economic sanctions and unjust siege imposed on Syria. These exhibitions contribute to the marketing of the national product and enhancing the position of industrialists and businessmen to keep pace with technical and economic developments in all fields of textile, engineering, electrical and other industries.

Ali Nizam, the director of the organizing company, stated that the exhibition aims to promote Syrian industries and products locally and internationally, and to allow national companies to exchange experiences, as well as highlight the most important investment opportunities available through parallel workshops organized by the Syrian Investment Authority. He  noted that the exhibition is currently the largest economic and commercial event in the city to contribute to the reconstruction.

During meetings with SANA, Eng. Murad Sukkar, a representative of a company for machinery and packaging, said that his pavilion presents locally produced and high-quality packaging machines. The exhibition constitutes an important opportunity to introduce products and communicate with foreign companies with the aim of marketing.

Participant Nuri Garab, representative of a central air-conditioning company, pointed out that the company is working on implementing central air conditioning and ventilation projects and actively contributes to the reconstruction of what was destroyed by the war in various governmental and private buildings, noting the good organization of the exhibition.

It is noteworthy that the exhibition will continue until the seventh of this month.
