The Palestinian Prisoner Club warns of the deterioration of the health of prisoner Ibrahim Ghunaimat

The Palestinian Prisoners Club warned of the deterioration of the health of prisoner Ibrahim Ghunaimat as a result of the deliberate medical negligence he is being subjected to in the occupation prisons.

The club explained in a statement reported today by Wafa Agency that Ghunaimat suffers from severe heart problems and has been waiting for two years to undergo an operation to put a device that regulates heart rate and recently developed diabetes, while the occupation authorities delay in providing him with the necessary treatment, which poses a threat to his life.

The club indicated that Ghunaimat, who has been detained since 2010, did not suffer any health problems prior to his arrest and began to show symptoms of illness after his arrest, indicating that in addition to the crime of medical negligence, torture and inhuman conditions of detention contribute to the spread of diseases.

It is noteworthy that Ghunaimat is one of the 600 sick prisoners, including about 200 prisoners who suffer from chronic diseases.
