Egyptian politician: Repeated attacks by Turkish occupation on Syrian territories a blatant violation of Syria’s territorial integrity

Secretary General of the Arab Popular Front for Unity in Egypt Alaa Abu Zeid has condemned the repeated attacks of the Turkish occupation on Syrian territories, stressing that these attacks constitute a blatant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo, Abu Zeid said that the repeated attacks launched by the Turkish occupation in cooperation with Turkish backed terrorist groups are a flagrant aggression that comes within the framework of the Turkish regime’s attempts to undermine international peace and security.

He affirmed that the international institutions, mainly the Security Council, must assume their responsibilities and form an international front to put an end to the savage Turkish aggression on Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He went on to say that these acts of aggression are backed by the United States, representative of neo-colonialism.

He called on freedom-loving people of the world and all the international forces, who are against the American hegemony, to voice solidarity with Syria by taking actions against the Turkish aggression.

He also called for boycotting all the Turkish goods and for halting tourism cooperation with Turkey and tourist visits to Turkey in order to force it to withdraw from the north of Syria and stop its attacks.
