Syrian students residing in Lebanon arrive in Syria to take their high school and basic education exams
First batch of Syrian students of basic education and high school, residing in Lebanon, arrived in Syria on Friday to take their exams which kick off on Sunday, Director of Education in Damascus Countryside Maher Kamal Faraj.
In a statement to SANA, Faraj said that 253 students, of who 93 are high school students and 160 are basic education students, crossed the Lebanese-Syrian borders Friday evening to conduct their exams.
He stressed the Syrian Education Ministry’s keenness on providing education to all Syrian students without exceptions.
Jaraj noted the full cooperation between the ministry, the governorate of Damascus Countryside, the Immigration and Passport Department and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent to secure the arrival of the students.
Two centers were designated to host the students in the border towns of Al- Yabous and Al-Rawda.
