Putin: No one can isolate Russia from global trade

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stressed that no one can isolate Russia from global trade, and whoever tries to do so harms himself first and the economies of other countries.

In today’s speech at the Eurasian Economic Forum, Putin said that challenges will make us stronger than we were before, and Western countries cannot remove a country from politics, the global economy or international sport, explaining that sanctions harm everyone, as advanced economies have not witnessed the current inflation rates in 40 years.

Putin stressed that supporting investment projects is a priority for the Russian government and that the withdrawal of some foreign companies from Russia is a good thing, as other companies will replace them, warning at the same time against confiscating Russian assets and stealing the property of others
