Nebenzia: The US occupation forces plunder Syria’s resources and prevent stability in it

On May 25th, Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, said that the US occupation forces are plundering Syria’s natural and agricultural resources and preventing stability there.

Russia Today quoted Nebenzia as saying in a session of the UN Security Council: “Syria has achieved great successes in confronting terrorism,” stressing that Washington’s occupation of large parts of Syrian territory prevents stability there.

Nebenzia indicated that the United States is expanding its illegal trade in Syrian grain and oil and smuggling them outside the borders.

The Russian delegate explained that the United States looted Syria’s wheat and oil, which are the basis for addressing the energy and food crisis.

On the situation in Ukraine, Nebenzia confirmed that the Ukrainian prisoners admitted the existence of higher orders to shoot unarmed civilians.

He said: “There are many confessions from captured soldiers of the Ukrainian armed forces that they have orders to shoot civilians.”
