Mrs. Asma Al-Assad confirms that pioneering projects are pillar of micro economy

Mrs. Asma Al-Assad emphasized the importance of university students entering the labor and production market through pioneering projects that constitute one of the pillars of micro economy, by supporting the environment required for these projects, whether in terms of training in management, economic feasibility studies, or financing by the concerned financial institutions.

During her visit to the first entrepreneurial investment forum “2022 Opportunity”, which was held by the National Union of Syrian Students and the Young Entrepreneurs Association in Rida Saeed Hall at the University of Damascus,  Mrs. Asma was briefed on a wide range of projects related to youth that would be discussed in this forum. She also held discussions with those responsible for implementing these projects, all of whom are students and graduates of Syrian universities. She spoke with them about the link between thought, entrepreneurial ambition, and the environment necessary to transform it into successful projects of economic feasibility.

Mrs. Asmaa also interviewed representatives of the supporting and donor institutions participating in this forum regarding the role of these institutions in supporting entrepreneurial projects on the one hand, and their ideas for developing this type of experience and expanding its scope among the youth segment on the other hand.
