Syrian diplomatic missions abroad requested to receive applications of Syrians who want to benefit from the Amnesty Decree
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has called on all Syrian embassies and diplomatic missions abroad to take necessary measures to brief the Syrians residing abroad on the content of the recently issued Amnesty Decree No.7 which grants a general amnesty for the terrorist crimes committed by Syrians before April 30, 2022.
In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry also urged the embassies and diplomatic missions to announce their readiness to receive applications from those covered by the decree and who want to benefit from it.
The ministry clarified that this procedure comes in implementation of the legislative Decree No. 7 for 2022, given the fact that there are many Syrians who are residing abroad and who can benefit from the decree.
