Iraqi forces arrest two terrorists in Maysan

Baghdad (ST): Iraqi forces arrested two terrorists in Maysan province, in the south of the country.

Iraqi News Agency (INA) quoted the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, as saying in a tweet  that “a joint force of the army and police within the Maysan Operations Command carried out a security operation that resulted in the arrest of a wanted terrorist in accordance with Article 4 of terrorism in the district of Maysan. Kohl’s”.

 

Rasoul added that “a terrorist was arrested in a second operation in the Qala’at Saleh district, south of the city of Al-Amarah,” noting that the detainees were handed over to the judicial authorities to complete the procedures against them.
