Turkish regime arrests 60 people

Ankara (ST) – Turkish regime authorities issued arrest warrants for 60 people, the majority of whom are military. The Turkish regime arrested them under the pretext of their association with the Gulen Organization, whom the authorities accuse of being behind the 2016 coup attempt in the country.

Anadolu Agency, speaking on behalf of the Turkish regime, stated that the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Izmir issued arrest warrants for 37 soldiers, including 29 in service.

23 students in the military college were dismissed due to the coup attempt.

The police launched a raid and searched in 26 governorates to implement the arrest warrants.

The Turkish regime authorities issued arrest warrants for 53 people, including five employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, under the pretext of their association with the Gulen Organization.
