America rudely occupies areas of Syria rich in oil, says Draxler

Prague, (ST) – The former Slovak Minister of Education, Research and Science, Juraj Draxler, affirmed that the continued presence of the US occupation in part of the Syrian territories represents a flagrant violation of international law. He added that this occupation has caused thousands of Syrians to become victims .

 Draxler said in an article published on the Czech news website “Regionalny Novinke” on Tuesday that, “the United States rudely occupies part of Syria’s territories, especially the most fertile and oil-rich areas.” He criticized that most Western media means have ignored these facts.

He pointed out that the Syrian people have achieved great victories in their war against terrorism, and this has only been achieved through massive sacrifices made over the past years.
