Collective Security Treaty Organization: We have enough power to respond to the threats of NATO expansion

Moscow (ST):  The Secretary-General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Stanislav Zas, stressed that the threats of expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization “NATO” would increase the danger and tension in the world.

RIA Novosti quoted Zas as commenting on the plans of Finland and Sweden to join NATO : “The Organization has enough forces and means to respond to potential threats from NATO expansion, but this issue is not on the agenda at the moment”, stressing that the further militarization of the region does not serve to strengthen security, including NATO member states.
