Tartous Governorate honors 270 Martyrs’ families

TARTOUS, May.22, (ST)- Tartous Governorate and the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Affairs have honored 270 families of martyrs.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), medals were given to the families of martyrs in the honoring ceremony which was held on Sunday.  

The ceremony also included a documentary film about the brave sacrifices and the humanitarian attitudes of the Syrian Army during the battles of honor against terrorist groups.

The speakers in the ceremony asserted that the sacrifices of the martyrs preserved Syria and foiled the enemy’s plots of fragmenting the country.

They indicated that every Syrian house has a story of honor about a martyr, who sacrificed himself defending the country.
