The Directorate of Education in Homs Governorate, in cooperation with the International First Aid Organization, started the restoration of the Martyr Mahmoud Mutlaq School for Basic Education, which was destroyed by terrorists.
The supervisor of the educational complex in Palmyra, Sabah Melhem, confirmed in a statement to a SANA reporter that the restoration work of the first floor of the school, which includes 6 classrooms, administrative offices and attached toilets, is currently being completed, in addition to the restoration of the school’s external wall. The renovation of Palmyra schools contributes to improving the educational reality and encourages people to return to their homes.
The supervisor of the restoration project, Ibrahim Al-Mohammed, indicated that the implementation period of this project is about 90 days.
