Photography competition on the occasion of the Damascene Rose Festival

On the occasion of the Levantine Rose Picking Festival, which is being held today on May 19thin the town of Al-Marah in the countryside of Damascus, the Syrian Trust for Development announced a photography competition.

The competition includes covering one of the following three elements, the first element “a picture showing the beauty of the Damascene rose and the rituals associated with it”, the second element “a picture documenting the Damascene Rose Festival” and the third element “a picture highlighting the role of women in cultivating the Damascene rose.”

The conditions of the competition include that the image size should be 16:9 in high quality and without modifications.

Each participant can submit two images to the competition by sending them to the competition’s e-mail, and the last day to receive the images is next Saturday 05/21-2022.

It is noteworthy that the Levantine Rose Picking Festival will start in the village of Al-Marah, in cooperation between the Syrian Trust for Development, the Damascus Countryside Governorate and the Syrian civil society.
