A unique achievement has been realized recently by the Syrian university student, Lama Zakaria, who has entered the Guinness World Records and has achieved the first world record with the largest painting containing 4096 circles (Largest display of mandalas).

Two years of continuous and diligent effort preceded reaching this stage, Zakaria said during an interview with the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

She clarified that she had worked with patience to achieve the required symmetry in her painting, which achieved the record for the largest painting of mandalas in the world.

Her work contains 4096 mandala circles of various diameters, colors and various decorations, and she used special dotting tools and acrylic paints on a wooden board with a thickness of 6 mm.

Zakaria pointed out the her work, whose dimensions 488× 488, contains a large number of circles overlapping with each other and free circles with smooth lines that enhance cohesion among them.

Lama Zakaria is a third-year student at the Faculty of Architecture, who has sought to specialize in mandalas and dotting, and she worked individually to learn the origins of this art and master its methods, and participated in several art exhibitions, including (Little Women), (Creative Women) and (Kahraman).
