Poetry in the cultural center in Qadmous

In the presence of a crowd of personalities with an interest in cultural, literary and intellectual affairs in Qadmous, the Awtar Literary Forum held its awaited literary poetic meeting, in the presence and participation of a number of other cultural forums, such as the Qadmus Literary Forum and the Masyaf Cultural Forum.

The Awtar Literary Forum was represented in this event by the poets: Sana Safkouni, Kamal Dib, SaharGhanem, Fatima Al-Hassan, and the forum’s director, poet and novelist Makhlouf Makhlouf.

The poems that were recited varied in terms of content, between patriotic, emotional, and ghazal( love poetry). There were poems about martyrdom and martyrs. The meeting included a lyrical musical segment that also dealt with national, humanitarian and social concerns.

The meeting included honoring the director of the Cultural Center in Qadmous on the occasion of his retirement.
