300 Boko Haram terrorists killed on outskirts of Chad Lake

The Multinational Joint Task Force in Nigeria has announced that at least 300 Boko Haram terrorists have been killed on the outskirts of Chad Lake in recent weeks.

These militants were killed in 30 separate confrontations in recent weeks, while at least six soldiers of the Joint Multinational Joint Task Force and one member of the Joint Task Force were killed during operations, Xinhua news agency quoted Kamaruddin Adegoke, spokesman for the Joint Task Force, as saying in a statement issued in the northeastern Nigerian city of Maiduguri.

It is noteworthy that the Multinational Joint Task Force is a joint military effort established by countries including Cameroon, Chad, Niger, Nigeria and Benin to fight the Islamic State group, Boko Haram and West Africa Province, which threaten the stability of the Chad Lake region.
