Representing President Al-Assad, Minister Azzam pays respects on death of late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed

 Representing President Bashar Al-Assad, Minister of Presidential Affairs Mansour Azzam and the accompanying delegation on Saturday offered their condolences on the death of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Minister Azzam conveyed President Al-Assad’s condolences and sympathy to his brother, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, who in turn conveyed his thanks and warm greetings to President Al-Assad.

Minister Azzam also offered President Al-Assad’s condolences to his brothers the leaders of the UAE, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ruler’s representative in Al Dhafra region, to Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and to Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser.

The Minister of Presidential Affairs, on behalf of the Syrian government and the Syrian people, expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of the United Arab Emirates.
