US occupation continues plundering Syrian oil

The occupation forces on Saturday stole more Syrian oil by transferring tens of tankers carrying oil stolen from the Syrian Al-Jazira region to the Iraqi territories via Al-Walid illegal crossing.

Local sources in Al-Yaroubiya countryside told SANA that 70 vehicles, including tankers carrying Syrian oil stolen from the wells in the areas occupied by the US forces in the Syrian Al-Jazira region, left the Syrian territories to Iraq.

The convoy also included refrigerated containers as well as 15 trucks carrying military equipments, the sources added, pointing out that the convoy was accompanied by 6 US armored vehicles.

The new US occupation’s move comes a day after it brought out 46 vehicles via the same crossing.

The US occupation forces, in collusion with the US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) separatist militia, are controlling most of the oil fields in the Syrian Al-Jazira region, mainly in the provinces of Hasakah and Deir Ezzor. They are smuggling the Syrian oil and sell it abroad to deprive the Syrians from this major wealth in a blatant violation of the international law.
