Egypt for finding Political Solution to Syria Crisis

CAIRO,(ST)_Egypt ‘s  Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy,  stressed Egypt’s firm stance in seeking to find a political solution to the crisis in Syria to preserve its territorial integrity and people.

Spokesman for Foreign Affairs Ministry  Badr Abdul Ati stressed  in a statement yesterday following Fahmi  meeting  with the UN special envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi, that Brahimi reviewed results of his contacts carried out in  preparation for convening the  international conference on Syria in order to find a solution to the crisis , and that the two sides exchanged views on developments on the ground in Syria.

The Spokesman added that Fahmi stressed Egypt’s intention to intensify contacts with various regional and international parties concerned to strengthen ongoing efforts to achieve these goals and to continue contacts with the “Syrian opposition” to urge them unite their visions about the future of Syria and how to get out of the current dilemma.
