Moscow, (ST) – The Head of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, considered that the unprecedented Western sanctions on his country make it stronger.
“Whatever does not kill us makes us stronger,” Volodin said in a statement.” He added that “imposing 10,128 penalties on our country more than any other country in the history of its existence is a challenge for us to become stronger.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin considered that the policy of containing and weakening Russia is a long-term strategy for the West, and that the sanctions dealt a serious blow to the entire global economy.
