Patriarch John X Yazigi presided over thanksgiving prayer in Hama

HAMA,May.3, (ST)-Within the framework of his pastoral visits to all parts of the Antiochian See, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, Patriarch John X Yazigi, presided over thanksgiving prayer at St. George Church in Hama.
 
Patriarch John X said in the prayer:  “The determination to stay in the land of Syria must overcome all the winds of change in the world, and we and our Muslim brothers are the lungs of this East. We, Muslims and Christians, only know one fabric that rejects all extremism and blasphemy that affects the church, the mosque, the bishop and the sheikh.”
 
Metropolitan Nicholas Baalbaki, Metropolitan of the Archdiocese of Hama and its dependencies for the Greek Orthodox and all the heads of Christian denominations in the province of Hama, participated in the prayer.
