“SDF” leader killed in explosive device attack in Raqqa countryside

A leader in the US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) separatist militia was killed on Saturday in an explosion that targeted  his car in Raqqa countryside.

Local sources told SANA that an explosive device, planted on the road between the city of Raqqa and the town of Ein Issa, went off today as a Toyota car was driving along this road. An SDF militia leader, who was in the car, was killed immediately and the car was damaged.

The sources added that an explosive device also went off in a military car that belongs to the SDF militia on the road of Al-Kassarat town, south of Raqqa city. The militants inside the car were injured and the car was damaged.
