Hasakah’s residents protest against SDF militia’s inhumane acts

HASAKAH, April.27, (ST)-Today, the city of Hasakah witnessed on Wednesday a protest in rejection of the violations of the separatist “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia”, which has besieged civilians for the 18th day, and in opposition to the American and Turkish occupations.
 
The participants in the protest raised banners condemning the militia’s violations against civilians related to preventing the entry of flour, fuel, water and medicine amid the silence of international organizations on this crime against 1 million citizens.
 
The protesters demanded the intervention of international bodies, international organizations and United Nations bodies to stop these violations.
 
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted The Syriac Orthodox Archbishop of Al-Jazeera and Euphrates Marmores Amseeh as saying: “The residents of Hasakah are living a real tragedy, as they are without water, bread, or electricity because of the siege imposed by the militia despite that we are in the days of the blessed month of Ramadan. 
 
He called for finding a solution for the residents of Hasakah and ending the siege. That  exhausted the residents.”
 
The head of the council of elders and dignitaries of Syrian clans and tribes, Sheikh Mizar Al-Maslat, said that the siege that the residents of Hasakah are subjected to come under the directives of the militia operator to punish the people for their steadfastness, their adherence to the soil of the homeland, and their standing by the Syrian Army.
The Syrian Tribal Council issued a statement in which it affirmed keenness on national unity and absolute rejection of all forms of dismantling the social fabric.
 
It also underlined  adherence to the culture of brotherhood and cohesion between the colors of the social, religious and ethnic spectrum that have  roots in this blessed land.”
 
The statement indicated that the residents of Hasakah suffer from the worst inhumane acts committed against them by the “SDF” militia, such as oppression, arbitrary arrest, displacement, confiscation of freedom,prevention of education, recruitment of youth by force to serve the American project, the theft of national resources and tightening the noose through economic war through the unjust siege. 
 
It added that SDF militia’s acts  will not break the determination of the residents Hasakah Governorate and their steadfastness. 
 
“our choice is to remain in this land and the policy of starvation will be a cause for popular anger and our silence will not last,” the statement concluded.
