21 Palestinians injured during the attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli occupation forces and settlers
On April 21st, 21 Palestinians were injured when the Israeli occupation forces and settlers stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque for the fifth consecutive day.
Palestinian media reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the mosque this morning and assaulted the Palestinians who were staying in the mosque and those stationed there, forcing them to evacuate its courtyards.
The Israeli occupation forces fired bullets and poison gas canisters at the Palestinians in the mosque, injuring 21 Palestinians, including an elderly person.
The Israeli occupation forces also prevented medical staff from reaching the injured and expelled the press crews from the mosque.
Dozens of settlers stormed into the mosque from the Mughrabi Gate and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, under the strict protection of the occupation forces.
The occupation forces continue to harass the Palestinians to prevent them from entering Al-Aqsa by erecting checkpoints inside the Old City of Jerusalem and at the roads leading to its gates.
Yesterday, about 1180 settlers attacked Al-Aqsa Mosque, guarded by the occupation forces.
