Hungary: We reject sanctions on oil and gas supplies from Russia

Hungary announced that it would not support imposing sanctions on oil and gas supplies from Russia.

“We will not support sanctions against oil and gas from Russia. Russian gas supplies to Hungary are uninterrupted,” Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Peter Szijjarto said in a statement today, according to TASS News Agency.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban drew attention last month to the need to prevent decisions that would drag European countries into the center of the crisis in Ukraine during the European Union and NATO summits.
