Shoigu: Washington and its allies are working to provoke the Kiev regime to fight to the last Ukrainian

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stressed that the United States and its Western allies are doing everything they can to delay the duration of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.

“Washington and the Western countries under its control are doing everything possible to delay the special operation of the Russian armed forces in Ukraine, and the increased supply of foreign weapons clearly shows their intentions to provoke the Kiev regime to fight to the last Ukrainian,” Shoigu said in a statement today, according to TASS.

Shoigu noted that “the Russian army is carrying out the tasks set by the Supreme Commander in the context of the special military operation, for the liberation of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. The Russian official added that the Russian military participation in the operation shows courage and heroism in performing the military duty and Russia remains a reliable guarantor of the security of its citizens.
