Syrian Embassy in the Bulgarian capital celebrates the 76th Anniversary of Evacuation Day

Sofia, (ST) – The Syrian Embassy in the Bulgarian capital Sofia held a celebration on the occasion of the seventy-sixth anniversary of the evacuation of the French colonizer from the homeland.

The children of the Syrian community in Bulgaria participated in the ceremony, where they expressed their pride on this occasion and the meaning it represents.

Mr. Muhammad Muhammad, the Head of the Syrian mission in Sofia, delivered a speech during the celebration, in which he stressed the true meanings of this occasion, recalling the sacrifices of the first martyrs who wrote the epics of independence with their blood and inspired the generations that followed lessons in resistance and steadfastness.
