NPF: “Evacuation Day” anniversary an occasion to affirm Syria’s continuous confrontation of anti-Arab nation schemes
The Central Leadership of the National Progressive Front (NPF) stressed in a statement on Monday that Syria has surprised the world with its steadfastness during the past 11 years of terrorist war against the country. It pointed out that the anniversary of “Evacuation Day” is an occasion to affirm Syria’s continuous confrontation of the challenges and schemes targeting the Arab nation.
In a statement marking the 76th Anniversary of “Evacuation Day”, the NPF said that Syria was one of the first countries in the region to win independence following a wide-scale people’s resistance and struggle against the French occupation.
The Syrian people’s struggle was not confined to confronting old colonialism. This struggle continued in the confrontation of all types of new colonialism, including evil schemes, the latest of which has been the terrorist war waged with the aim of weakening Syria and resistance forces.
The NPF reiterated that the Syrian people’s steadfastness and support for their leadership has played a great role in achieving successive victories, and this steadfastness will continue, inspired by the meanings of “Evacuation Day”, until every occupied inch of the Syrian territory is liberated.
In a different context, the NPF expressed its support for Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine with the aim of preserving its national security and preventing NATO expansion.
