Poetic activity at Dar Al-Assad for Culture

On the occasion of the glorious April feasts, the Syrian Forum for Culture held a poetry festival in Dar Al-Assad, entitled (April and the Alphabet of Chrysanthemums), in the presence of a number of writers and those in charge of cultural affairs. The festival presented the poets: Abeer Hatem, Yousra Nouira, Aida Bledi, and the artist Manal Hassoun. Poet Wadihah Darwish, founder and general manager of the forum, inaugurated the poetry festival with verses glorifying the homeland, the leader and the army.

Poet Ali Al-Zeina gave the speech on behalf  of the Syrian Forum for Culture, then the speech of Mrs. Kafa Thabet Kanaan, a member of the provincial council, then the participation of each of the poets and writers followed as such: Poet Sarah Khair Bey, writer Dr. Reda Shariqi, poet Wassim Saleh, novelist Makhlouf Makhlouf, poet Ali Al-Zeina, poet Rafiq Saqour, poet Nabil Al-Shawish, poet Fatima Al-Hassan, poet Qais Merhej, poet Ghassan Tarraf, poet Hussein Al-Rashed.

There was a pause with the young talent of  the forum, Aya Hussein Al-Rashed, with a poem about  beloved Syria. The festival included honoring the poet Sarah Khair Bey by the Syrian Forum for Culture, and honoring some of the wounded of the Syrian Arab Army.
