Israeli occupation’s attack on Palestinian worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque receives wide Arab and international condemnation

Arab and international parties have condemned yesterday’s Israeli occupation’s raid into Al-Aqsa Mosque during which the occupation forces attacked Palestinian worshippers, injuring dozens of them.

The condemnation statements called for putting an end to the Israeli violations and aggressive acts against the Palestinians and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people in the confrontation of the Israeli arrogance.

The Algerian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the Israeli occupation’s assault on worshipers constitutes a blatant aggression on the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and a flagrant violation of all relevant international resolutions and conventions.

The ministry reiterated the need to provide complete protection to the Palestinian worshipers and to allow them perform their rituals inside the mosque, calling on the international community and the Security Council to assume their responsibilities and act immediately as to put an end to the Israeli aggressive and provocative practices and provide international protection to the Palestinian people and their sanctities.

On its part, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry affirmed that Iraq rejects all the calls for storming into the Palestinians’ holy places, such as Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Dome of the Rock and other holy shrines, stressing its complete support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.

Yemen also condemned the Israeli occupation attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that it is a serious violation and a blatant provocation.

In a statement, the Yemeni Foreign Ministry called for pressuring Israel as to stop its attacks on the Palestinian people and their sanctities.

The statement reiterated Yemen’s support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate struggle to liberate all their occupied lands and establish their independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.

The Political Bureau of the Yemeni Ansarullah Movement also strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on Palestinian worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque and hailed the heroic resistance of the Palestinian people against the Israeli arrogant policies.

Germany, France, Italy and Spain issued a joint statement in which they warned against the Israeli escalation in occupied Al-Quds, calling for respecting the status quo at the holy sites in this city.

The statement noted the need to implement the relevant international resolutions in order to achieve a comprehensive settlement.

The Israeli occupation forces at dawn on Friday stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque and attacked worshipers. They fired bullets and toxic gas bombs, injuring more than 153 Palestinians and detaining some 400 others.
