Russian Defense: Elimination of 30 mercenaries in Kharkiv, Ukraine

Moscow (ST): The spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov, announced that the Russian Armed Forces continue to carry out the special operation in Ukraine and that the Ilyich mining complex in the city of Mariupol was completely liberated by the offensive operations of a group of Russian forces and units of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

 

Konashenkov said in a press briefing today: “Last night, using high-precision sea-based Caliber missiles, a workshop at the Gulyansky plant for the production and repair of medium and long-range anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as anti-ship missiles, was destroyed in one of the Kiev suburbs.” 

He stressed that the number and dimensions of missile strikes on targets in Kiev will increase in response to the Kiev extremist regime’s attempts to carry out any terrorist or sabotage actions on Russian territory.

Konashenkov added that the anti-aircraft defense forces, using the S-400 missile system, shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter in Gorodnaya, Chernigov province, which was returning to its base after bombing a civilian population in the town of Klimon, Bryansk region, and a Ukrainian Su-27 plane was shot down in the air in the town of Lazovaya.
