Afforestation Campaign at The Entrance to Lattakia Governorate

The Environment Directorate, in cooperation with the Department of Parks in Lattakia and the branch of the Revolutionary Youth Union, carried out an afforestation campaign on the node of Aleppo at the entrance to the city of Lattakia.

The campaign comes within the afforestation plan launched by the Environment Directorate on the Tree Day. The campaign contributes to spreading vegetation cover and covering the largest possible area of Lattakia gardens with green spaces to give a beautiful appearance to the city’s entrance.

The campaign is a bid to decorate the area and support the vegetation cover following the recent fires. The afforestation campaign further bids to promote the idea of volunteering, which contributes to the aesthetics of the city and the countryside.
