NPF Meets on Enhancing Syria Steadfastness

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ The central leadership of the Baath Party National Progressive Front (NPF) stressed that Syria’s steadfastness in the face of the global war is but an example to that people who own the free political will and independent decision can overcome the mightiest challenges.

Chaired by its deputy chairman Dr. Suleiman Qaddah, the front reviewed yesterday the Arab and regional political scene and latest developments in various arenas of political activities, noting that thanks to Syria ‘s steadfastness people of the region were endowed to confront the conspiracy hatched to subjugate them to the will of foreign powers ,seeking to implement the project targeting the entire region.

The party’s central leadership highly appreciated the heroic role played by the army and the armed forces in the face of terrorism, trying to destroy Syria’s land and people.

The Party ‘s central leadership listened to an economic report by prime minister Wael al-Halqi in which he reviewed measures taken to address the economic war against Syria.

In his review, Dr. Halqi confirmed that Syria is able to address this war through self- reliance and the support given by her friends, pointing out the multiple policies adopted to alleviate the suffering of the citizen ,providing the requirements of living , working on anti-monopoly and price- increase , and developing the necessary plans for the reconstruction of what had been destroyed by terrorists ‘s devastated hands.

The Party’s National Progressive front members also listened to a political report submitted by the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Walid al-Muallem in which he addressed a number of issues related to the current political scene , which revealed that the policies adopted to face the war on Syria envisaged a strategic vision capable of dealing with the enemy, no matter how many forms its has to force Syria to obey the incompatibles with its national interests and the supreme national interests of the Arab nation.

The Party Front’s Central leadership considered that the forces of terrorism, are but part and parcel of Arab and regional countries trying to prevent Syria from exercising its national and regional role, confirming that all Front’s national parties and forces will continue to work with all forces and national parties in order to protect Syria and preserve her dignity and enhance her capabilities so as to emerge victorious from this unprecedented  war which expressed the extent of hatred that the enemy has against Syria.
