Mercenaries in Ukraine will pose a threat to the security of the US and its allies, says Zakharova

Moscow, (ST) – Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed that the mercenaries that are fighting in Ukraine will join the ranks of the neo-Nazis in the future. She stressed that they will pose a future threat to the security of the United States and its European allies.

RT website quoted Zakharova as saying on her Telegram channel that, “our European and American partners do not take into account the consequences that result from inciting to fight against Russia and condone these volunteers for their decisions stem from blind hostility to Moscow even if this threatens them in the future.”

Zakharova added that mercenaries “who did not escape in the early days will be trained and remain in the ranks of the Ukrainian paramilitary formations fighting on the side of the Nazis, after which they will return home, suffer from mental illnesses.”

Zakharova wondered whether “the authorities and security services of countries that allow and facilitate the departure of mercenaries to Ukraine will blame Moscow in this matter, instead of holding themselves accountable for such mistakes.”
