One person dead and three others injured as a result of explosion in Sidon district of southern Lebanon

Beirut, (ST) – One person was killed and 3 others were wounded in an explosion in the town of Benafoul, located in the Sidon district of southern Lebanon.

 Lebanese media quoted a security source as saying that an explosion occurred near the local council of the town of Benafoulcausing the death of one person and wounding at least three othersIt also said that the explosion also damaged a building belonging to the municipal council and another close to it.

The source added that ambulances immediately rushed to the scene of the explosion, while the competent Lebanese authorities began investigating the circumstances of the accident.
