The National Union of Syrian Expatriates in Sweden and Europe honors the outstanding sons of martyrs

The National Union of Syrian Expatriates in Sweden and Europe honored 250 male and female students who excelled in the schools of the sons and daughters of the martyrs and their teachers

A ceremony (Basmat Amal 3) was held on the stage of the Martyrs’ Girls Schools in Mezzeh, Damascus. 

The honoring ceremony included a presentation by the choir of the Martyrs’ Schools, which included patriotic and folk songs under the supervision of Maestro Imad Tariqji, an artistic paragraph entitled (We Renew the Covenant), and an expressive national painting presented by the girls of the Martyrs’ Schools. 

 

Major General Lamis Rajab, director of the boarding schools for the sons and daughters of martyrs, pointed out that these prestigious and lofty schools established by the founding leader Hafez al-Assad graduate many outstanding students annually

Ziad Zahreddine, Director of the Consulate and Expatriates Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, praised the role of these schools in caring for and honoring the sons and daughters of the martyrs despite the harsh conditions that had passed on Syria

In turn, Dr. Yamen Youssouf, Director of the Deputy Foreign Minister’s Office, pointed out that today’s event is an acknowledgment of the thanksgiving of the righteous martyrs to the Syrian people

The director of the ceremony, Firas Qasqas, stated in a speech on behalf of the President of the Union, Dr. Kabi Isho, that the Union emphasizes, through this event, the importance of contributing to building the homeland and its future

The ceremony was attended by Director of the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Major General Bassam Berri, Director of the Party Preparation School Bassam Abu Abdullah, a number of members of the Union in Syria and a number of artists.
