Polyansky: Russia does not trust any independent investigations by the West and Ukraine into the Bucha events

Moscow (ST): Russia’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, announced that his country does not trust any independent investigations conducted by the West and Ukraine regarding the events in Bucha, pointing out that the issue of forming an international group within the framework of the United Nations to investigate these events has not been considered.

Polyansky said in a statement to the Russian newspaper Izvestia : “I have not heard about the formation of an international investigation team within the framework of the United Nations to investigate what happened in Bucha. This case has not yet been considered and I doubt that any solution can be found in this case,”, noting that without a clear mandate from the United Nations, the United States cannot be investigate.
