For the second day, the “SDF” militia linked to the American plan in the region prevented the entry of foodstuffs, flour and fuel to the center of the city of Hasakah, which led to a shortage of foodstuffs and a significant increase in the prices, and put additional pressure on the citizens in terms of securing daily living needs.
The militia on Saturday stormed Al-Baath bakery in the city of Qamishli, took control of it by force, expelled its employees and suspended it from work. It prevented the access of flour and bread production ingredients to the bakery of Hasakah for the second day, which in turn deprived thousands of the families from bread in the cities of Hasakah and Qamishli.
In order to tighten the siege of the city center, SANA reporter stated that the “SDF” militia had closed the surrounding streets with concrete barriers and installed mobile checkpoints near the Al-Basel roundabout from the airport side.
This is not the first time that the separatist militia has besieged the center of the city of Al-Hasakah. Last year, it besieged the city of Al-Hasakah for several months and deprived the people of the entry of food, flour and medicine. The siege ended only with a popular uprising against the militia’s practices, which led to the death of civilian martyrs and the wounding of many of them.
The people of al-Hasakah city expressed their anger towards the criminal practices of the militia, which seeks to restrict them and deprive them of the most basic necessities of life in compliance with the plans of its operators from the American occupation forces.
The people pointed out that the difficult living conditions resulting from the militia’s theft of the region’s wealth of oil, gas, wheat and barley and the imposition of financial royalties on citizens in collusion with the occupying forces aimed at pressuring them to accept the existence of the occupation and to remain silent about the militia’s practices against them.
The people pointed out that there is no solution to the problems and difficulties that the governorate suffers from except by “expelling the occupier from our land and thus the puppet militia is doomed to automatic demise.”
