Tehran: Resistance is the Palestinians’ only option to liberate their occupied lands

Iran has reaffirmed its support for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people’s struggle against the Israeli occupation, reiterating that resistance if the only option for the Palestinians to liberate their occupied lands.

Fighting against the occupiers is the legitimate, obvious, and natural right of the Palestinian people and a response to the repeated aggressions of the Zionist entity against the holy places and the unarmed Palestinian people, Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Saeed Khatibzadeh said in a statement on Saturday.

Racism, oppression, slaughter, extensive deprivations, daily humiliation of the Palestinian nation, and the terrorism of the apartheid Israeli entity constitute the main root of all the unrest in the occupied lands, he added, according to IRNA News agency.

The spokesman called on all the nations, governments, and international entities to act in accordance with the principle of the right to self-defense and providing the Palestinians with security and prevent the aggressions and crimes committed by the Zionist entity in Palestine.
