Syria wins 5 medals in Arab Championship in Mauritania

NOUAKCHOTT, April.7, (ST)-The Syrian bow and arrow athlete Shorouq Al-Masri won a gold, two silvers and two bronze medals in the Arab Championship for women, which was held recently in Mauritania.
 
The Coach of the Syrian national team, Karen Sorour, said ,in a statement to Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), that our participation was limited to only two athletes, Shorouq Al-Masri, who won five medals in several championship competitions, and Batoul Tello, who was the youngest player, and also achieved advanced positions.
 
She hoped that a large number of male and female players will take part in the upcoming championships so that the number of obtained medals will be increased.
