The United Nations calls on donors to donate for Yemenis

The United Nations announced today that millions of Yemenis do not have enough food as the living conditions in the country deteriorate.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs tweeted that “this Ramadan, millions of people in Yemen do not have enough food,” calling on donors to donate for the sake of Yemenis.

The International Committee of the Red Cross reported last Sunday that Yemen’s needs are enormous, and the International Organization for Migration which reports to the United Nations announced last week that more than 25.5 million Yemenis are now living below the poverty line due to the repercussions of the war that has been going on for more than seven years.
