A Ukrainian plan to attack Russian forces positions in Donetsk foiled: Russian MoD
The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday that Russia has aborted a Ukrainian plan to attack Russian forces positions in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
The ministry said in a statement that the Russian Communications Forces managed to obtain radio conversations about secret moves by a group affiliated to the Ukrainian forces that aim at attacking Russian forces positions in Donetsk.
The statement added that these conversations were conveyed to the Russian leadership for making a suitable decision in this regard, pointing out that the plan was foiled.
